chicken strips, salad

Chicken fingers if you like, but that would be ridiculous as chicken lips. This is a single frozen chicken breast cut into strips, dredged in seasoned flour, drenched in milk, dredged back into the same seasoned flour, shallow fried at 350℉ / 175℃.

Salads more simple than this are called lettuce. This has a few sprigs of lemon basil and Genoese basil clipped from the Aerogarden because those two were outpacing the other things up there again. It made for a very interesting alteration. Olive oil first then rice vinegar at the very end. Salt and pepper.
